I have worked in the Australian Immigration area for over 20 years. I started my career at the Australian High Commission in London fresh out of University. I stuck visas in passports for the first 6 months and thought it was the best job in the world. I worked my way through the Department from speaking to the public, managing applications and then representing the Australian Immigration Department at the first Immigration Outbound show in the UK which has now developed into the most successful migration show in the UK.
After 5 years I then moved back to Australia where I formalised my immigration knowledge with Registration, consulted to the Victoria State Parliament, consulted to a law firm on migration matters and assisted with Refugee applications which saw me working in detention centres around Australia for 3 years.
I then moved into the corporate world where I managed and expanded the migration practice for a large global relocation company and after 5 years started my own business, Visa Executive.
