Fees for Australian visas
As of 1 July 2017, all application fees for Australian visas will be increasing.
Government application fees known as a VAC (Visa Application Charges) will be indexed annually in alignment with the forecast Consumer Pricing Index (CPI).
Implementing annual CPI indexation is the reintroduction of a previous standard practice which fell by the wayside for a few years but it has now been reintroduced by the Immigration Department.
We have been advised that the Government application fees will increase on an annual basis each 1 July by CPI so please make note of this when you look at your budget costs.
